Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using **SkipForge**, a d/b/a of **InvestorMode LLC** ("SkipForge," "we," "us," or "the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ## 2\. Description of Service SkipForge provides skip tracing and public-records research tools, including individual person searches, business entity searches, reverse entity searches, and bulk list processing. Results are compiled from third-party data providers and public records. ## 3\. Account Registration You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. ## 4\. No Guarantee of Data Accuracy (Important) **SkipForge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or availability of any skip trace result or data returned through the Service.** All data is supplied by third-party providers and public-record sources and is provided **"as is" and "as available."** You acknowledge that phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, relatives, entity officers, and any other returned data may be outdated, incomplete, mismatched, or incorrect. A returned record is **not** a representation that the contact information belongs to, or is currently used by, the subject of your search. **No refunds are issued for inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise unsatisfactory records or data returned by the Service.** Credits are consumed when a search returns a result, and consumed credits are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. See Section 6. ## 5\. Your Responsibility for Permissible Use **You — not SkipForge — are solely responsible for how you use the data returned by the Service.** You represent and warrant that you have a lawful, permissible purpose for every search you run and for every subsequent use, storage, disclosure, or transfer of the results. The Service is **not** a consumer reporting agency, and the data it returns is **not** a consumer report as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"). You may **not** use the Service or its data, in whole or in part, to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing/tenancy, or for any other purpose governed by the FCRA. You are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including privacy, data-protection, anti-harassment, and do-not-contact laws. You agree to independently verify any data before relying on it, and you agree to indemnify and hold SkipForge harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service or the data obtained through it. ## 6\. Credits, Billing, and Refunds Searches are priced in **credits**. Credits are purchased in advance or included with a subscription, and are consumed when a search returns a result. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. **Credit purchases and wallet balances are non-refundable** and have no cash value. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not refund fees already paid or credits already purchased or consumed. ## 7\. Acceptable Use You agree **not** to: - Use the Service for stalking, harassment, intimidation, fraud, or any unlawful purpose. - Resell, redistribute, scrape, or bulk-export data except as expressly permitted by your plan. - Share your account credentials or allow access by unauthorized users. - Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or circumvent any part of the Service or its rate limits. ## 8\. Intellectual Property All software, design, and content of the Service are owned by SkipForge and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. ## 9\. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkipForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service or reliance on data returned by it. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to SkipForge in the **three (3) months** preceding the claim. ## 10\. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for suspected unlawful use of the Service. Upon termination, any unused credits are forfeited without refund. ## 11\. Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date and a new published version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. ## 12\.
