# Editorial Standards

How we research, source, and maintain the articles we publish.

## How We Research Articles

Our editorial team researches each article using publicly available data, government and industry reports, and our own experience helping homeowners sell property. We aim to give readers practical, accurate information about selling a home, local real estate markets, and the home-selling process.

## Sourcing & Citations

When an article references statistics — such as home values, population figures, or market trends — we cite the original primary source wherever possible. This typically means the **U.S. Census Bureau**, other federal agencies, or state and local government sources. Where an article includes numbered citations or a "Sources" section, those links point to the original data or publication so readers can verify the information themselves.

## Review Process

Articles are drafted and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. Some articles note a specific reviewer; others are reviewed collectively by our editorial team. Review focuses on factual accuracy, clarity, and whether cited sources actually support the claims made in the text.

## Keeping Articles Current

Real estate data changes over time. When new figures are published by the sources we cite — such as updated Census estimates — we revisit and update the relevant articles. Where an article has been updated after its original publication date, we display an "Updated" date alongside the original publish date.

## Corrections

We want our content to be accurate. If you believe something in one of our articles is incorrect, outdated, or missing important context, please let us know at [support@cyberhomes.com](mailto:support@cyberhomes.com). We review correction requests and update articles when a change is warranted.

## Editorial Independence

CyberHomes buys homes directly from sellers, and our blog covers topics related to that business. Our goal is for informational content to remain factual and useful regardless of whether a reader ultimately chooses to work with us.
