I would be nice to see the parents be more involved in the PTO. The committee is small but strong. The music department is great. It gives the inner city youth a chance to explore and express creativity through music and dance. The drumline is terrific thanks to an attentive ,dedicated instructer.

I love this school. My son will be graduating # 2 in his senior class this year. This school reall y cares about their students and understand the meaning of the term 'It takes a Village to raise a child'.

This school overall is great. My son has learned so much in a fun way from these teachers. The principal is very active with the students.

As a Graduating senior of Girls and Boys Prep, I think it was a great Experience and a pleasure to have attend this Academy. I learned alot and also gained much success. The teachers are fun and helpful and the staff is a blast! Althought I onlyy spent one year at 'Da Prep', I learned many lessons there and hopefully i can carry on the messages into my ongoing future. I jus want to say that this is a very powerful, fun, exciting, and adventerous school. Every parent should want there child to earn a good education at such a great price.

The academic programs are not up to standard. The school has a high teacher turn over rate. There are no real extracurricular activities available at the school. Parents are not involved at all until their child is failing or disciplined. Students use inappropriate language towards their teachers and administration does nothing to counteract. The only sport is basketball which is so unorganized. The only music is choir. Art really doesn't get a chance to thrive and grow. I would not recommend this school to anyone at all.

High school curriculum and available extracurricular activities severely limit acceptance into college other than those with open enrollment. Activities are advertised but don't materialize. Parent involvement minimal.
