My daughter has attended Pegasus since 7th grade. She is now finishing her freshmen year. This school has the potential to be one of the best schools in Dallas, but it lacks direction. Who is head of this school? There are too many associate, and assistiant principals. No guidance councelors. No college prep courses. No parental involvement. Not enough 'after' school activities. I feel the things they are very strict about, and focusing on should be moved to the back burner. There are too many other issues that are far more important. Parking is horrible if you transport your child to and from school. I personally feel that the teachers are not the best they could be. With the school being as small as it is, they could have more individualized help for the students that need it. There are a lot of undisciplined children running around with no supervision.

This school lacks a lot of necessities, such as a school lunches. All students must bring in their lunch. Teachers are too busy with other matters to assist with tutoring the students.

This school is fantastic!!! I am a graduate of Pegasus and not only did the school provide me with a challenging top of the line education, the school provided me with many great leadership opportunities. This helped prepare me for one of the top colleges in Texas.

Parents please be cautious when sending your child to school. I don't know how we managed to survive this past year. It was truly a nightmare. Do your research before considering this school. As the other reviewer said, they do tell you how good it is but when in school, its nothing but disappointment.

I am truly pleased with this school. It continues to grow from the looks of their TAKS scores. They are willing to really help their students succeed and they truly challenge their students.

I think this is a really great school for my children. I have a 4th and 5th grader at Pegasus. Before my kids attended Pegasus, they didn't pass all of their TAKS. This year my kids passed all parts of the TAKS. That should say a great deal about this school. My kids are so excited to be here, and they have become more studious! The after school program is really awesome for the one on one tutoring and it doesn't cost a thing!

I feel that this school offers little to none in the area of parental involvement. They have a great sale for the school and once in, it's been nothing but discouraging. I try to understand how 100% can pass the TAKS, but not pass math.

I love this school. Two of my kids attent pegasus and they love it. Classes are excellent. I love the fact that the school sents the portal( the weekly school newspaper) and i can read what my kids are learning every week. I also like that the students keep track of their own work in a student agenda. In general I love it. I have no complains. Best academic quiality, best uniform, great location, and best teachers

Outstanding school! My questions and concerns were always addressed immediately. My children love going to school and they look forward to the after school activities that the school provides for free. My kids get to experience all that downtown has to offer including the Arts District and Fair Park Museums. The kids have homework frequently, but they did so well on their TAKS test this year they know it was worth all the work. I am confident that at Pegasus my children are getting all the attention and support they need to be successful.

Academic programs could be intensified. Level is still not up to par. This institution has the capability of becoming one of the best Charter schools in Dallas, however the focus is still not being met. It is full of talented students but lacks direction, in my opinion. More parental involvement is needed. Focus should be placed on overall excellence. Teachers, on a whole are dedicated. Emphasis should be placed on accquiring 'educators' not individuals who just want a job. Mentoring program is needed.

Overall, Pegasus is a very poor learning environment. My children were better off at public schools in Oak Cliff. I was told that they did not accept students with disciplinary problems but it's obvious that they accept anyone.

This charter school is like other charter schools, poor! It is a diploma mill and the students do not acquire any real learning.

A little sparse in setting, the small yet enthusiastic staff and teachers make up for it. A gem in downtown Dallas

Average academic programs, music and arts available but limited sports. Little or no parent involvement. School doesn't seem to want input from parents.

I went to Pegasus for one sememster transferring from Lake Highland Freshman Center. All my life I have gone to private school. Starting Freshman year was the fisrt year attending a public school. When I went to private school there were a lot of people who wanted to learn versus a public school, there was less. My first day at Lake Highlands about 30% of the students did not want to learn. I did not adapt to it, so I decided to transfer. When me and my father viewed Pegasus they made it look as if it was a good school. So I thought that would be the closest thing to a private school so I transferred. The first day there were kids who walked all over the teacher and cursed at the teacher. There was a lot of gang related material. I wish I would have stayed at Lake Highland.
