Cher is cutting $4 million off her Malibu home's asking price.
Last month, we suggested that actress Cher would have better chances of selling her Malibu, Calif., home if she
reduced her asking price. She had first listed the residence for sale nearly a year ago.
A bargain -- at $41 million
It seems that the "Moonstruck" star has taken the advice to heart -- her home, which is listed with
Hilton & Hyland, is now priced at $41 million -- $4 million less than her original $45 million.
Cher has recently updated the home's interior -- most likely to better appeal to buyers. The new look is "light, Zen, bright, beachy and beautiful," real estate blog L.A. Land quotes Cher's listing agent. Cher temporarily took the home -- which she had built in 1999 -- off the market during its renovation, the blog adds.
